Uncharted Road: Civic Engagement in Chapter 24 Education, Research, and Monitoring

The goal of the project is to improve the EU integration process of North Macedonia in relation to Chapter 24, by strengthening civil society and citizens through the creation and sharing of information, capacity building and knowledge transfer.

More specifically, the idea is to increase the meaningful engagement of civil society and its organizations in monitoring the upcoming stages of EU integration in relation to Chapter 24 by providing concrete information and specific knowledge, as well as networking about the process and its dynamics.

A1. Creation of educational resources:
1. Handbook on Chapter 24
2. 20 articles in the form of comments, interviews, etc., issued for a special web platform for EU integrations
3. Two digital stories
4. Collection and publication of relevant documents on Chapter 24 on eu.info.mk
A2. Research:
1. Network analysis for RSM relevant to Chapter 24.
2. Analysis of compliance of RSM with Acquis as part of Chapter 24;
3. Survey of public opinion (EUROMETER) on perceptions regarding justice, freedom and security
A3. Capacity building
1. Two informative workshops (EUROTALKS) with relevant stakeholders;
2. Four workshops for CSO representatives to build their capacities for monitoring Chapter 24;
