The goal of the project “Relations between civil societies: North Macedonia and Bulgaria” was aimed at building trust, preventing conflicts and facilitating reconciliation based on the principles of mutual understanding and respect.
The project produced two direct results:
1) Increased cooperation and improved relations between the representatives of the two civil societies and;
2) Introduced a more relaxed atmosphere by demystifying fake news about Bulgaria through a social media campaign aimed at the Macedonian public.
This project represents a continuation of already established ties between civil societies in the two countries.
