Magdalena Lembovska is a Coordinator and Senior Researcher on security issues at EUROTHINK. She has participated in over twenty national and international projects related to security sector reform and governance, irregular migration and asylum, the fight against organized crime, extremism, good governance, anti-corruption and Europeanization. She is an author of numerous policy papers, reports, manuals and commentaries. She is a member of the Network of Experts of the Global Initiative against Transnational Organized Crime, as well as the Study Group for Regional Stability in Southeast Europe of the “Partnership for Peace” Consortium. Before joining EUROTHINK, she worked on the Security Policy Program in Analytica Think Tank, Skopje (2012 – 2018). Magdalena Lembovska is an alumna of the Rotary Peace Fellowship (Bangkok, 2020), and has attended professional development programs implemented by the Defense Academy of the United Kingdom, The Hague Academy of Local Governnance, UNODC, College of Europe etc. She holds aMSc in Global Crime, Justice and Security from the University of Edinburgh in the United Kingdom, supported by the Chevening Scholarship.
