Today, at the premises of Eurothink, a meeting with the Honorable Stephane Dion – Canadian Ambassador to Germany and Special Envoy to the European Union and Europe was held. This meeting was aimed at a discussion on the reform process, the current political state, as well as the key reform priorities from the point of view of the civil society in North Macedonia. The Ambassador was accompanied by his Advisor, Ms. Jenna Renee Martinuzzi and Mr. Brian Ebel – Councellor at the Embassy of Canada in Belgrade.
The representatives of Eurothink, Ms. Magdalena Lembovska and Mr. Aleksandar Stojanovski had the opportunity to familiarize Ambassador Dion with the ongoing activities and working plans in relation to the project “Rapprochement between North Macedonia and Greece through monitoring of the implementation of the Prespa agreement” funded by The Canada Fund for Local Initiatives. Additionally, Eurothink’s researchers provided their views on the opportunities for future support from the Canadian government in relation to the reform processes of the country in our efforts of building a liberal, democratic and inclusive society.
