Let’s talk about the environment

The need for environmental protection and quality assurance of EU citizens, ensuring the proper functioning of the single European market, as well as the incorporation of the principle of sustainable development in existing legislation has led to enhanced cooperation in the sector and later to the development of a common environmental policy. Environmental policy is no longer a sideline, but is at the top of the list of priorities of all European Union presidencies.
